Somerville Open Studios: May 5-6
You may have noticed the lack of new photos on the site as of late, and that the few that I have posted this year have been mainly alcohol shots.
Well, the reason for this is that I've been hard at work preparing for my first public gallery. I'm showing a series of alcohol abstract in my home as part of the 2007 Somerville Open Studios.
Somerville Open Studios is a non-profit organization that produces an annual open studio and other events in Somerville, Massachusetts. It's been nine years since the organization was founded, and the annual event has grown to feature over 300 artists, in mediums ranging from photography and painting to graphic design and multimedia.
So, if you happen to be in the Boston area on the weekend of May 5-6, please stop by! Here are the details:
Alcohol Abstractions
This show will be a celebration of alcohol, with its vibrant colors and seductive curves captured in a series of abstract photographs. Wine and hor d'oeuvres will be served:
Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th, noon-6pm
