I used to hate RSS for that very reason. Its like listening to someone retell a good story, only the person retelling it leaves out all the colorful details and messes up the ending. However, it sure helps me keep in touch with the blogs and sites I enjoy viewing and reading. Then again, because I've become so reliant on NNW, I often forget to visit sites in my bookmarks that don't have a feed. The good and bad of RSS. All in all, though, I like it. And if an image or passage catches my fancy in the reader, I'm definitely going to click through to read/view the whole thing on the actual site.
